Journeying into the World Heritage listed Kakadu National park you will be surrounded by vast tracks of savannah woodland, bordered by the largest wetland systems in Australia. As you head deep into the park you will pass through a variety of eco-systems. In the cool of the mid-morning you will arrive at Kakadu's premier art site and take a walk into numerous galleries of rock art and shelters that were used by the traditional people of Kakadu. The hundreds of paintings and views across the floodplains and sandstone country into Arnhem Land are breathtaking and are why Ubirr is the most visited art site within Kakadu. After your lunch stop arrive at Bowali for some free time. Join a cruise located on a wetland system that houses the world's highest concentration of Crocodiles.
