day 01    wed        Madrid-Trujillo-Lisbon     
Own arrangement to your hotel and to the departure point. Travel through the Extremadura Region to Trujillo, the birth place of several Spanish conquerors. Time at leisure explore the historical centre and the monumental Plaza Mayor. Continue across the border to Portugal, and arrive into Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, located at the mouth of the Tagus River. 
Optional: join a night tour to attend a show of Fado, the typical Portuguese music and songs. 
day 02    thu          Lisbon     
Your morning guided city tour will include the old Alfama Quarter, the Tower of Belem and the Monastery of Los Jeronimos.  Afternoon at leisure.  B 
Optional: join an excursion to the charming mountain city of Sintra, followed by Cascais and Estoril. 
day 03    fri            Lisbon-Fatima-Lisbon       
We leave for Fatima, an important pilgrimage centre, time at leisure to visit the Shrine and the Basilica. Return to Lisbon.  B 
day 04    sat          Lisbon-Caceres-Cordoba     
Today we depart for the Spanish border, and continue to Caceres, time at leisure to explore the Plaza Mayor walk through the old city with its famous, Medieval Quarter, which is well preserved and listed as a World Heritage Site.  In the afternoon we continue southbound to Andalucia, where you will arrive in Cordoba.  BD 
day 05    sun         Cordoba-Sevilla  
On your tour, visit the famous Great Mosque/Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. Continue to Sevilla, with lunch on arrival and time at leisure.  BL 
Optional: join a tour to attend a Flamenco show. 
day 06    mon        Sevilla                   
Morning city tour visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz area with its narrow streets, the Park of María Luisa and the Plaza de España, with a panoramic of the city, time at leisure. BD 
Optional: join the Artistic tour to include the Royal Alcazar Palace.  
day 07    tue          Sevilla-Ronda-Marbella    
We travel through the Route of the White Villages to Ronda. Time at leisure before continuing to Costa del Sol.  BD         
Optional: join the excursion to Mijas or Gibraltar.

A full day at leisure or choose from the optional tours available. BD

day 10    fri            Marbella-Tangier-Rabat-Casablanca 
Board the ferry to Algeciras or Tarifa, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. After clearing customs on arrival in Morocco, we continue by coach to Tangier for a panoramic tour, continue to Rabat with a walking tour to the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Arrive at the cosmopolitan city of Casablanca. BD

Morning panoramic tour and depart to Marrakech. Your afternoon sightseeing tour will include the Imperial city visiting the famous Djemaa el Fna Square, with its open air market which is of great exotic activity. BD 
day 12    sun         Marrakech-Meknes-Fes    
Today we visit the Koutoubia Tower and the Saadi Tombs.  Then we depart for Meknes for a panoramic tour of this old walled city, with the beautiful “Bab El Mansour” Gate. Continue to Fes.  BD 
day 13    mon        Fes        
Breakfast is followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Fes. Visit the Medersa, considered to be the first university of the Islamic world, the old Casbah with its narrow streets, the Quarter of Tanners, the Najerine Fountain and the great Medina considered a World Heritage Site. Afternoon at leisure explore Fes.   B 
day 14    tue          Fes-Tangier-Marbella        
Depart for Tangier board the ferry and cross the Strait back to Spain to arrive in Costa del Sol. BD 
day 15    wed        Marbella-Granada 
Morning departure for Granada. On arrival, a guided tour of the impressive Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and the Generalife Gardens. BD 
Optional: join a tour to visit the Caves of Sacromonte. And attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.     
day 16    thu          Granada-Toledo-Madrid 
Travel today to the Imperial City of Toledo, packed with ancient history and monuments. After lunch, a guided sightseeing tour throughout the narrow streets and alleys. Continue to Madrid, where your tour will end upon arrival. BL
