day 01 Istanbul
Arrivel to Istanbul Airport meet and assistance. Transfer to Hotel. After c-in free time and overnight in Istanbul
day 02 Istanbul
After breakfast departure for full day old city tour. Starting with a drive around the Golden Horn and the great walls of Constantinople, we pass Dolmabahce Palace, then cross the Galata Bridge before arriving in Sultanahmet Square, where we visit Hagia Sophia: The former spiritual heart of the Byzantine Empire, considered to be the 8th Wonder of the World, Hagia Sophia is now a museum. Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays, so on that day we visit the Kariye (Chora) Museum, a former church which houses the most important surviving Byzantine mosaics and frescoes in the world. The Blue Mosque: Dating from the 17th century, an architectural masterpiece famed for its exquisite blue tiles and six elegant minarets. The Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts: The former palace of Ibrahim Pasha, it now exhibits an extensive collection of nomadic art and ethnography, providing a rich glimpse into the traditional Turkish lifestyle. The Hippodrome: Once the site of Roman chariot racing and Janissary uprisings, this historic square also contains an Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column from the Temple of Apollo at Delphi and ornamental fountain presented to the Sultan by German Emperor Wilhelm II. The Grand Bazaar: An exotic maze of narrow alleys, stunning architectural details and hundreds of shops selling a rich assortment of handmade carpets, gold, silver, leather and other precious goods. Topkapi Palace: The seat of Ottoman power for three centuries and imperial residence of the Sultans, the Palace also houses one of the world's most extensive collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, religious artefacts, and other priceless relics. The Treasury Section of Topkapi Palace: An exhibition of the precious personal belongings of members of the Ottoman dynasty. Suleymaniye Mosque, overlooking the Golden Horn a short distance from Sultanahmet, this mosque complex once included a soup kitchen, hammam, caravanserai and primary school. The Golden Horn, a drive along the Golden Horn past Roman land walls and Byzantine churches.
day 03 Istanbul
After breakfast morning Bosphorus cruise tour. We drive to Sariyer, a charming fishing village located on the Bosphorus near the Black Sea, from which we embark on a cruise. Afternoon at leisure
day 04 Istanbul - Cappadocia
After breakfast depart from your hotel to airport and fly to Cappadocia via Kayseri, Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia
day 05 Cappadocia
After breakfast depart from your hotel. Our first stop is the Soganli valley, which is one of the earliest settlements in Cappadocia. After this, we drive back to Urgup through the unspoiled villages of Cappadocia, surrounded by the "table-top" mountains. On the way we visit the Medrese in Taskinpasa, a Theological School of the Seljuk Turks. After lunch in Mustafapasa at an old Greek house hosted by a local family, we take a 5km hike along the Red Valley, one of the most breathtakingly and mysteriously beautiful valleys in the region. The valley, with its fabulous volcanic rock formations, is in the heart of Cappadocia but well away from the mainstream tourist haunts. The little chapels of the hermits, carved out of the valley walls, lend a spiritual dimension to the beauty. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
day 06 Cappadocia
After breakfast departure from the hotel. Meet the guide and driver in the hotel, and start discovering Cappadocia's unique landscape; first stop is the highlight of Cappadocia Region, Goreme Open Air Museum to witness the living art of Christian and Byzantine history on cave churches. Then we drive to Çavuşin, an old Greek village for to discover the civil architecture in Cappadocia. We have lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos where has been the centre of terra-cotta art since 2000 BC. After lunch drive to Pasabagi or Monks Valley to see the fascinating mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Then we drive to Devrent (Imagination Valley) for to see different shapes of fairy-chimneys. Before returning to the hotel visit the natural rock castle at Uchisar. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
day 07 Cappadocia - Kusadasi
After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Kusadasi via Izmir. On route visit Ephesus and Virgin Marys House. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
day 08 Kusadasi
After breakfast morning departure. Drive to Pamukkale, Cotton Castle, once known as HIERAPOLIS, famous for healing thermal/ mineral baths and beautiful snow-white petrified waterfalls. After lunch, visit HIERAPOLIS, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the Main Street and Gates, the Thermal Baths, the Devil's Hole, and the Masterpiece Theatre. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in a hotel pool's hot spring mineral waters (but not in the Cascade Pools) is one of your year-round options, before returning back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
day 09 Kusadasi - Istanbul
After breakfast transfer to airport and flight to Istanbul. Transfer to hotel then free time for shopping. Overnight in Istanbul. (Optional, Turkish Night Gala Dinner)
day 10 Istanbul
After breakfast free time then transfer to airport
