day 01 Lisbon-Arrival

Arrival at Lisbon airport and welcomed by our local tourism driver and transfer to the hotel.

day 02 Lisbon-Évora

Full-day guided tour around Lisbon; start with the monument of Marques de Pombal, walk down Avenida da Liberdade to the historic Rossio Square, then by elevator to Santa Justa in famous Alfama district, with its Moorish narrow and winding streets and the fantastic views of the city. In the afternoon admire the Manueline Architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument. The day will end at the hotel in Évora. B

day 03 Évora-Tomar-Coimbra

Half-day visit of Evora (UNESCO Heritage site) – seeing the cathedral, the Roman temple and the Giraldo Square. After lunch we continue to Tomar to admire the Convent of Christ (UNESCO Heritage site). The last stop of the day is Coimbra. B

day 04 Évora-Coimbra-Aveiro-Porto

Half-day tour around Coimbra, visiting one of the oldest universities in the world and the university library, the old quarter, the Sta.Clara church and old cathedral. On the way to Porto stop at the Portuguese “Venice” Aveiro and enjoy a 1hr cruise along Aveiro channels, accompanied by their traditional sweets and a glass of sparkling wine. B

day 05 Porto-Braga-Guimarães-Porto

Morning visit of Gaia – part of the Porto city where all the port wine cellars are situated and where you will have the chance to taste the famous Port wine.

The afternoon is dedicated to the greenest region of Portugal, Minho: Braga and Guimarães. In Braga visit the Cathedral and the Bom Jesus Sanctuary. After that we continue to Guimarães, the cradle of Portugal, with its historical center declared recently a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Walk the narrow streets of the Medieval quarter lined with old houses embellished by ornate balconies and statuary, leading to the beautiful main square, the Largo da Oliveira.
